plating being installed for the exterior doors and windows

we’re really starting to work on the front wall where the windows and doors will be. as such, we’re installing plating along the top of the short tire wall that’s out front. the window and door boxes will rest on the plating.

we’re also making progress on the roof, with plywood going up some insulation going in at the back, then EPDM (synthetic rubber) that will protect the back of the roof from the berm as the earth gets pushed up to it.

also, some prep was done for some small can walls we’ll be using to fill the gaps between the rafters and the top of the tire walls along the side. the nails are left sticking up so that the plaster put there will grab on to them.
